Haven Moore can't control her visions of a past with a boy called Ethan, and a life in New York that ended in fiery tragedy. Then an impossible group of coincidences forces her to flee from her small Tennessee town to New York, to discover who she is, and who she had been.
At first I wasn't sure what to expect from The Eternal Ones. It sounds a bit like Evermore to me. After reading it though, I had forgotten about Evermore entirely.
Haven is growing up in small town Tennessee and is treated like a freak. She only has one friend and constant visions of a boy to keep her company. After getting to New York things begin to unravel and Haven is thrown into a myriad of problems she isn't prepared for.
Kirsten Miller has written a book that will keep you guessing, most of the time. Some things were predictable, but overall it was interesting. I especially loved that Kirsten gives you a background about almost all of the characters. The plot was also unique and it will keep your interest. You'll think you know everything, but do you really?
Overall The Eternal Ones is a great read and wasn't at all what I expected. I hope this will be turned into a series...
